Doodle Jump: Be Warned, Insanely Addictive!

Doodle Jump, one of the most popular apps in the App Store and continual ranker on the Top Ten Paid App List, has recently been adding easter eggs to the game. This is a list of the current easter eggs that are offered, but I will update as more are added.

So the first question is, What is an easter egg? Simply put, an Easter Egg is a “hack” that the developer puts in the app (on purpose) to allow some customization in the app. In the case of Doodle Jump, easter eggs change the graphics of the game, so that each one has a different theme. The Creeps: Change your name to “Creeps”. This will change all of the monsters in the game into monsters from “The Creeps!”

Halloween: Change your name to “Boo”. This will give you a halloween theme.

Snow: Change your name to “Snow”. This will give you a winter theme.

Pocket God: Change your name to “Ooga”, or any other of the Pocket God characters. This will make your character a Pocket God Pygmy and allow you to shoot coconuts instead of bullets.

Forest: Slide your finger across the bottom of the screen to see all the available themes, including the forest theme! You are now in the jungle, filled with dangerous enemies!! Will you survive?

Space: You are now in space!! Activate by sliding your finger to select the theme. Shoot lasers to bring down enemies. This new update is just out of this world!!

Easter: You are now the easter bunny! Change your name to ‘bunny’ at the end of the game to activate! All new characters and designs for you to enjoy!
