This is week 5 of iTracki’s weekly roundups on iTunes apps, and other things iPhone related (if applicable). These are the top five apps that were notable this week: Sailboat Championship Pro, Street Fighter IV, Castle Conflict, Pocket God, Godfinger. Sailboat Championship Pro: Sail Like A Pro!!

Remember the hit Sailboat Championship game back in January of 2010? Well, the devs have worked on the game and released a Pro version. This version, which came out yesterday, features 9 Pro stages, 2 Rescue missions, and 6 different boat types. Additionally, the original Sailboat Championship game is available in the Pro version too, as a training mode, so you can have basically two apps in one. Many people say that this game has a great representation of a real sailing experience, so try it out, all you sailors out there.

Street Fighter IV: FTW!!

We first released the news on Street Fighter IV a few weeks back (read our original article here), and it’s finally here!! Priced at $10, Street Fighter IV brings you the best street fighting game on your mobile device, for a great price!! Features include:

Your goal is simple: to conquer any who would dare resist you. Your army starts off simple, with ground soldiers to support your cause, but as you conquer, you will gain the ability to purchase more advanced units. But you must be warned – each unit has a strength, and a weakness! The cavalry is strong against most ground units – but can easily be defeated by pikemen! Advanced woodcutters get you resources faster, but thieves steal even more from them! Bombers rain havoc on the field, but a pirate zeppelin could turn it around and send it right back at you! (Luckily, you can shoot that pirate right out of the sky with a cannon before it gets the chance!)

Pocket God: New Update!!

Episode 31: What’s the Story, Morning Gory?

The gods bring the gift of language to the pygmies in the ever-evolving world of Pocket God! In the community menu, you can find the Story Viewer and Editor, where you can watch and create Pocket God stories. The devs have also included some of their own stories just for fun. You can get creative and make your own pocket god stories as well! Show your friends, or maybe video them and put them up on YouTube! And just like the rest of PG, the story mode will receive enhancements over time.

Additionally, the devs have added an all-new minigame “The Pain Drain!” Pull the plug in the underwater area and drag a pygmy to the drain to begin the game. The pygmy plummets into the depths of an underwater temple’s booby trap. See how far you can send the pygmy down the drain without touching the spikes!

GodFinger: Be A God!!

Godfinger, another freemium game by ngmoco, has recently hit the AppStore…in Canada!! I created a free canadian iTunes account and managed to get it on my iTouch while it’s still in preview. You rule the world in this game, controlling everything and anything around it. Grow your world and become the god among gods. Earn gold, convert followers, unlock powerful new items, and more. This game has open-ended gameplay, so you can do what you want, when you want.
