Twitter To Get A FREE Official App!

Something that Twitter has been lacking is an official app for the iPhone, but that’s now going to change with the purchase of Tweetie by Twitter! Tweetie is currently one of the most popular apps for Twitter on the iPhone, and when I asked my followers for suggestions on a Twitter app, Tweetie was mentioned multiple times. The announcement was made today by Twitter CEO Evan Williams, and Tweetie is planned to be renamed ‘Twitter for iPhone’. Williams has noted the fact that there is lots of room for improvement for Twitter exprience on the App Store, and the official app will be released as a FREE official app!
