JailbreakMe – Safari Based Jailbreaking

JailbreakMe, the latest jailbreaking tool available for those running on iOS (including iPhone 4 and iPad), has now been released. This tool is similar to one that was available about a year ago, allowing an iPhone/iPod Touch user to jailbreak OS 2.2.1 from Safari. Now JailbreakMe has taken this and implemented it into the iOS series, making it fast and easy to jailbreak without ever connecting to your computer.

Legal information and FAQ can be found on the JailbreakMe website (link here). Here’s a screenshot of what JailbreakMe will look like once you run it in Safari. Please note that this jailbreak is (as of the time of writing) not approved by Apple, and may void your warranty.
