Sonos is a great service that let’s you stream over Wi-fi your local and “cloud” music to any speaker system in your house. You can now also stream music from your iPhone with Sonos’ dock accessory. The dock is very sleek and fits well with the Apple form factor. You can also control playback over Sonos using the Sonos iOS app. Sonos is a great alternative if your not willing to invest in specially made speakers for Apple’s Airplay.
