While we’re talking about games that are coming soon to the App Store, let’s take a look at a new MMORPG that seems to have a lot of promise: World of Midgard 3D. Excerpt from the developer’s description below:

You who stand before me cannot know the horror of the ages past, when man cut down man in search of nothing more than a patch of land, a cow, or a pathetic cluster of hovels. These were the savage times. The lawless times. Before the Treaty of the Fallen Oak. Before the Swarm. Before even the Schism of Midgard. In these days, there were no villages or towns, but only itinerant factions who carved out territory by force. They had no code but survival. Survival and conquest.

From the game’s official website, this game seems like it really has a lot of potential, with great graphics, lore which builds a storyline, and much more. Here’s a short trailer/walkthrough video:

World of Midgard 3D is expected to hit the App Store at the end of the year 2011, and, as demonstrated, has iPad support. We’ll keep you updated on this, but for now, post your thoughts in the comments below!
