Apple Discontinues White Macbooks

Just today, Apple launched the new Sandy Bridge Macbook Airs. But we also know that Apple has a reputation for quickly leaving behind old products in exchange for the new ones. This time is no different; with the new Macbook Air, Apple has decided to discontinue its line of white Macbooks. It seems that Apple is trying to make the new Air, which has a price tag of $999, the new replacement for the Macbooks. TUAW also notes that all links to the white Macbook on Apple.com have been removed, and will be redirected to the Mac landing page.
