Street Fighter IV Volt   (not to be confused with the original Street Fighter IV iOS), was launched in June and costs $6.99 (compared to $4.99 for the original). The game was almost exactly the same as the original Street Fighter IV for iOS, but features quite a few upgrades – including all of the characters from the original, as well as adding 3 new ones and online play.

So obviously, with all of the extra content, Street Fighter IV Volt was a nice addition for all Street Fighter fans. And its about to get even better, because recent reports say that the game is about to get 2 new female characters.

The characters are called Sakura and Makoto, with Sakura coming from the Alpha series, and Makoto coming directly from Street Fighter 4.

Apparently, these characters are in development and will soon come as an update to the game.

Also interesting, is a rumor that Street Fighter IV Volt may add a whole host of new characters, including Evil Ryu and Fei Long. While this rumor is not very dependable, it would be amazing if it were to really happen.
