iSwifter Brings Flash-Free Browsing to Mac
Previously, we here at iTracki have talked about iOS apps such as Skyfire and Puffin, which allow you to run flash content on your iOS device. Basically what these apps do is process flash content such as videos on an external server, then send the converted information back to your iOS device in a format that can be read. Both Skyfire and Puffin have been featured here on iTracki, and are excellent solutions for iOS. But today we’re telling you about something different: the same concept, for Mac. It’s called iSwifter.
iSwifter is currently a iPad-only app that does the same thing as Skyfire and Puffin. But it’s also being ported to the Mac. We all know that Apple doesn’t really like Adobe, nor Flash, so they’re probably going to love this. Over 40% of all iSwifter servers are used to play Flash games on Facebook, such as Farmville, Mousehunt, Mafia Wars, etc.
