Iomega’s SuperHero Docking System Allows for Computer-Free Data Backup
These days, lots of users have been shying away from the notion of plugging their iOS device to the computer to power and sync their devices. I for one, dislike iTunes because i find it to be slow and a bit unwieldy.
In the past, users who wanted back-ups for their devices only had the option of using iTunes, as nothing else would supply the function. However, this problem has been solved with Iomega’s new SuperHero docking station – which allows for iTunes free backups.
Design wise, the device is quite simple. It’s a lot like all other docks, and has a plug and an SD card – which stores data. The device used to cost $69.99, but now can be bought for only $39.99.
Setting up the system is easy enough, and the app functions pretty much by itself without the user having to do anything. Basically, all you have to do is place your device onto it and it does everything else for you. You can also set up a password for security reasons.
