Apple Boosts iPhone Orders in 3Q and 4Q 2011
Recently, Apple has been reported to have increased its iPhone orders in the third and fourth quarter 2011 by 12%, with almost half of these orders being for the iPhone 5. According to a report by DigiTimes, 20 million units of the iPhone 5 will be shipped in the fourth quarter, as well as 5 million in the third quarter. If this is accurate, that means that Apple will be shipping 95 million iPhones this year. a large number indeed.
