A while ago, we reported that Sprint was going to be one of the carriers to receive the iPhone 5 when it comes out. Both Verizon and AT&T will also be getting the new iPhone when it comes out, but Sprint is the only carrier offering an unlimited data plan.

Now, a new report has come via SprintFeed – saying that while sprint will continue to offer the unlimited plan, it will be restricting the Mobile Hotspot Data add-on to 5GB of data per month.

The add-on costs and additional $29.99/month, and allows the iPhone to tether onto laptops to share their mobile internet connection.

Even though the data has been restricted, 5GB is still a very respectable amount and should be more than enough for average users.
