Apple Opens Enormous Nanjing Retail Store With Around 300 Employees
Yesterday, Apple opened up a massive new store in Shanghai – the largest Apple store in China to date.
According to sources, the opening required 500 people on hand, with 300 employees working in the store. The store has multiple stories. The first story is dedicated to displays, the second to service and support, and other stories for a variety of purposes such as business meetings and offices for Apple’s Chinese operations.
But wait, Apple’s mammoth stores don’t end here. In fact, Apple is soon planning to open its IFC Mall Store – which is located in the center of Hong Kong’s busy shopping district. That store will also have 300 employees and the total space it takes up is a whopping 16,000 square feet.
Along with these two main stores, Apple has also opened 5 new stores today as the company closes its fiscal 2011.
