Smaller is Not Always Better: New iPod Nano to Sport Larger Screen + Home Button?
With the launch of a new generation iPod Nano rumored to be set for later this year, Japanese blog Macotakara has suggested that the new iPod Nano will break Apple’s tradition of making next-generation devices continually smaller, and perhaps implement a home button and a larger rectangular screen, as to mimc the look an iPod Touch. The iPod Nano, it was rumored, would not run iOS, but instead a themed custom operating system that mimiced the look and feel of iOS. Below is a great photo of a mockup of what could potentially be the next iPod Nano:
Originally, Apple had plans to add a camera to its smaller, squareish iPod Nano (currently the most recent generation of the device) but it looks like this didn’t go through. The last iPod Nano was introduced in September of 2010, almost two years ago. It seems fresh for an update, yes?
