Apple is currently in court pushing for an injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, if successful resulting in the ban of the sale of Samsung’s tablet in the United States. However, according to a report by TUAW, Judge Lucy Koh of the United States District for the Northern District of California has denied the injunction. Apple faces another court session on June 7th, this time for an injunction against the Galaxy Nexus. Apple must wait until the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issues a mandate before it can ask again for an injunction.Read More →

According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung lawyers have recently proposed a deal to Apple that would seek to allow Samsung to finally released its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia – which has been delayed several times because of Apple’s pursuit for a preliminary injunction of the device ahead of a hearing on intellectual property infringement.Read More →

If you haven’t heard, recent reports have shown that Best Buy and other Electronics Retailers are having trouble selling tablets other than the iPad.
For example, Best Buy is said to have a large number of HP tablets that it has not been able to sell. The lack of sales was so bad that Best Buy is reportedly in talks with HP about returning the huge surplus. In fact, out of all of Best Buy’s stock, only 10% was reported to have reached the hands of customers.Read More →
Apple seems to have an interesting habit of using real-life models for its default wallpapers. For example, the default wallpaper for the iPad is based off a real-live lake called Pyramid Lake.
As for the OS X Lion galaxy background, it was found that the picture was actually based off a picture of the Andromeda Galaxy taken by astronomer Robert Gendler.Read More →
