According to 9to5Mac, Apple has been collaborating with Sprint to bring the iPad to Sprint’s data network. In fact, the report claims that the two companies have already finished with the device, and it is now “ready to launch”.

Taiwan Economic News has noted that Apple supplier – Foxconn – has significantly increased its iPad 2 units from 14 million to 20 million for the third quarter, marking a 42.8% increase from the first sales projection made in July.

According to an article done by DigiTimes, Apple has recently shifted iPad2 display orders from LG to its rival Samsung and Chimei Innolux.
Apparently, quality issues from LG forced Apple to stop ordering iPad displays from the company. It was reported that there were unacceptable yields in displays from LG with the panels failing to pass certain drop tests – during which the panels’ backlight units reportedly failed.
