Gizmodo.com recently released photos of what it claims to be the legitimate iPhone “N90A” model straight from a Foxconn Factory.
For those who don’t know, the N90A model is rumored to be the new low-end cheaper iPhone 4 that Apple is expected to release along with the iPhone 4S (N94).

The picture is from a site called Macpost.net, and claims to be from the prototype back cover of the iPhone 5.

While there is no way to know whether the photos from the UK shop iPatchPods are legit, they don’t really seem to be fake.

Apparently, they are a silicone case and a hard case for the upcoming iPhone 5. As you can see, the ringer switch is opposite of the volume keys, a change from the iPhone 4. Also, the bottom of the case has holes to accommodate a separate speaker, the main microphone, and a USB dock connector.

The picture shown above is labeled part “821-1259-06″ and appears to be a dock connector with a ribbon cable attached to it and bent in a 90 degree angle. This aspect of the part is particularly interesting because in the cases of the iPad 1 and iPad 2, the ribbon cable was straight. This seems to suggest that the iPad 3 will have some fundamental changes in its internal design.
