Great news for fans today, as we are now ascertained to a very close OS X Lion release. Earlier today, we wrote an article citing sources which claimed that Lion would be released Wednesday. Great news for Apple recently, as yet another study has predicted that iPhone sales will be phenomenal in the future. This new study by Changewave shows that out of all Americans expecting to buy a smartphone in the next 90 days- 46% are planning to buy an iPhone whereas only 32% are planning to buy an Android phone.
This means that iPhone demand is highest-ever for a non-launch period, beaten only by the period when the iPhone 4 was released. Changewave says that the reason for this huge popularity is the released of the Verizon iPhone.

Ever since Apple’s chief patent counsel- “Richard Lutton”- left, reports have shown that Apple has been furiously looking for lawyers to reinforce its litigation team in order to defend its intellectual property.
On Friday, two separate job postings appeared on Apple’s job board. One was for a Senior Patent Litigation Council and the other was labeled Legal Council, Litigation. A Taiwanese Apple forum www.Apple.pro recently released what appears to be an iPad 3 part.
The picture shown above is labeled part “821-1259-06″ and appears to be a dock connector with a ribbon cable attached to it and bent in a 90 degree angle. This aspect of the part is particularly interesting because in the cases of the iPad 1 and iPad 2, the ribbon cable was straight. This seems to suggest that the iPad 3 will have some fundamental changes in its internal design.

According to a new report by Digitimes, Foxconn, a Taiwan-based manufacturing company, is expected to build all iPad 3s that will be released to the public for sale. Apparently, the company told Apple that it can keep up with demand and handle the volumes, and all production will go through them.
