Listen up, those of you residing in Canada, Australia, or the UK who own an Apple TV. An over-the-air update to these devices is now available for download, and will allow Apple TV users in these countries to download episodes of TV shows, which previously was not an offered feature. Episodes cost anywhere from $0.00 to $2.49, which is reasonably priced in my opinion. Previously, TV shows were only available through iTunes in these countries.

The company has already shut down access to the rentals, and the Apple TV page has even stopped mentioning the option to rent TV Shows.
Read More →Apple has now made it possible to re-download TV shows through iTunes in the “Purchased” tab in the iTunes Store section of the app. Apple has also made it possible to redownload purchased apps, music, etc, a feature that they had promised in WWDC 2011. We can predict that the ability to re-download movies will be coming next.
