The Question:

Dear iTracki, How much I find out how much space is left on my iDevice?

The Answer:

Often times you may want to know how much storage space is left on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, etc. If you’ve used iTunes vigorously or have really messed with your iDevice, then this should be a relatively simple process. However, if you’re not really the tech savvy type, then iTracki is here to enlighten you.

If you want to find out how much storage is left on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, just navigate to the settings app, tap “General,” and go into the “About” screen, and from there you’ll be notified how much space is left on your iDevice.

Another way to find out is to plug in your iDevice to your computer and open iTunes. From there, you should see your device listed on the sidebar. Click on the device, and look at the bottom of the screen. There should be a bar showing information about storage space on your device. Information on how much space music, movies, photos, apps, etc, are shown. And then, at the very right, iTunes will tell you how much unused space is on your device.
