iOS Review: Angry Birds
Have you ever loved something so much, but had it stolen away from you from ball shaped green pigs? You haven’t?! Well now who’s a loser?! JK! Well these birds had their precious eggs taken by a fat old king pig ball thing? And here is the review for the epic quest of birds!
Ratings (Out of 5)
Graphics: 5.0
Gameplay: 5.0
Game Controls: 4.5

Overall Rating: 4.75
Graphics!
I love the graphics of this game! It’s like you are controlling your own little cartoon! The game has a lot of maps, and a lot of birds! The animation for the birds are funny and well made. As for the map and objects, this also applies in game play, but how the blocks break is cool. For each kind of hit and block, it cracks, those graphics can be time consuming to add (i know how it feels) and when done well works great! There are different kinds of birds, and in this game, unlike most others, each kind of bird looks completely DIFFERENT! Whether its shape or color or size, no one bird looks alike. Now for the pigs, well no one cares, they stole eggs! That’s why the graphics get a solid 5.0/5.0!
Gameplay!
Like I said early, the game is like a cartoon! The gameplay is simple and fun and to the point! Get your eggs back by flinging yourself at the enemy. Now no its not a walk in the park, you have to go through blocks (like I stated in the graphics). There are 3 major kinds of blocks: wooden, glass, and brick! Now each bird in the game has it’s own special power, except for the red one XD. Ok some powers are: becoming a bullet, multiplying, bombs, dropping bombs, and boomerang. Now each bird can do more damage to certain things, they don’t all do the same damage! The red is more of a neutral kind of bird, the small blue multiplier is good against glass, the yellow bullet bird is good against wood, and the bombs are good against concrete. There are more features and tons of more fun things to do, which gives this game a kick ass 5.0/5.0 on gameplay ;P!
Game Controls!
The game controls of this game are really basic, not much about it, which makes it so fun! Don’t you hate playing an app that looks good with controls that look like people from nasa would freak out? Well i haven’t so its ok! To fire a bird, you pull back on the slingshot and aim at where you want to shoot it, simple as is? OH HELL NO! It’s hard as hell to get it to the right spot, which is really fun about it! For most of the birds, to use their special, tap the screen (doesn’t matter where) and they will use it. NOTE! The black bomb bird does more damage if you don’t tap
This gives game controls a 4.5/5.0!
Replay Value
Ok now at this point you are probably thinking “slinging birds at pigs over and over again? how fun is that? o.O?” VERY! I can’t stop playing, i had to restore my itouch, and i had beaten the game, and I still play non stop trying to get it back to where it was! This game is non stop fun! With trying to get three stars on every map, you can’t stop trying to beat it! It’s so hard, but so fun! This gives the replay value a solid 5.0/5.0!
Overall Rating
