iOS Tutorial: Mass Email Photos
Editor’s Note: This tutorial was written and demonstrated for iOS 4.
Here we taught you how to email individual photos in the Photos native iOS application. Now, we’re taking it one step further, for the photography fanatic. If you take tons of photos using your iDevice, chances are the method that was aforementioned, emailing one photo at a time, is just too slow and grueling of a process for you. Here we offer a solution that allows you to mass email photos. No extra tweaks needed, this feature is built into the native operating system.
So for example, let’s say I have a couple of screenshots that I took of me playing a game on my iPod Touch, and I would like to email those screenshots to myself so I can upload them to my blog. These are the photos that I want to email:
Unfortunately, Apple does have the limitation that only 5 photos can be emailed at a time, but hey, at least it’s better than emailing each one individually.

So if we hit the button at the top right hand corner of the screen, we’ll get an interface similar to the one above. Just tap on the images that you want to email (iOS 4 will allow you to select more than 5 photos, but doing so will null out the “Share” button, which is what we are going to use to email the photos) and then tap “Share.” Select “Email,” and then an email interface will appear, and just email your photos.

Here’s the email interface, shown above. That’s all there is to it!
