Editor’s Note: This tutorial was written and demonstrated for iOS 4.

If you’re one of the millions of iOS users that don’t speak English as your native language, then a necessity for your iOS device is to type messages in other languages. Here’s a fast and easy what to switch between the multiple keyboards that you may have installed on your iDevice.

This interface, which you can bring up by tapping and holding on the globe button (which only shows up on your keyboard if you have multiple keyboard languages activated) allows you to drag between the various languages you have installed. The language selected will be highlighted in blue.

Once you have made your choice, just release your finger and the keyboard will automatically switch. No longer is there the need to repeatedly press the globe button to find the language keyboard you want.

That’s it!
