Bargain hunters looking to save money of great Mac apps are in for a treat today; two incredibly popular and useful Mac apps, Sparrow and FX Studio Pro, have been reduced in price by 50% today, from $9.99 to $4.99. Sparrow is a great minimalistic email client that replaces the default mail app. (By the way, through my experience it uses up a lot less space than the default mail app too.) Serious Mac gamers (yes, ironic, I know) may have heard of a great website called PaulTheTall.com, where some great Mac ports for popular Windows games are being released for free. Right now, GamersGate, a popular game download website, is offering the complete Gothic collection for PC for 80% off ($4.99, $24.99 normal price) for 24 hours only. PaulTheTall.com has already ported the original Gothic and Gothic 2 to the Mac, and plans to port Gothic 3 to the Mac soon as well.
